LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse): Day Shift

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in various settings, including long-term care facilities and medical-surgical units. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals. Responsibilities Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Monitor patients' vital signs and report any significant changes to the nursing staff. Deliver long-term care services, including dementia care, ensuring comfort and dignity for residents. Implement pain management strategies tailored to individual patient needs. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans. Educate patients and their families on health management and wellness strategies. Qualifications Valid LPN license in the state of practice. Knowledge of airway management techniques is a plus. Familiarity with PCC or similar electronic health record systems is desirable. Strong understanding of pain management principles and practices. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
