Full Job Description Position Overview :

Von & Bick Healthcare Associates is seeking a reliable and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct medical support for an individual with developmental disabilities who requires daily insulin administration and glucose monitoring . 3 positions available. M-F 8 am-3 pm 3 weekday and one 12 hour shift Saturday or Sunday. 2 weekday evenings 3 pm-8pm and one 12 hour shift Saturday or Sunday. Shift Differential offered. This role focuses on medication administration, health monitoring, and coordination between the residential setting and day program to ensure continuity of care. Key Responsibilities Administer injections daily as ordered by the physician Monitor and record readings before medication administration. Travel between the group home and day center to administer medication. (Transportation provided to the day center.) Document medication administration and report health concerns as needed Ensure compliance with agency policies, physician orders, and DBHDD health and safety requirements . Qualifications Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Georgia. Experience with insulin administration and diabetes management preferred Ability to travel between service locations during the shift. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation . Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Must pass background screening and TB test .
