Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract A pharmacy technician role is available for a specialized project requiring skilled medication fulfillment within a long-term care setting. This contract position is based in the Bay Area and focuses on prescription processing and medication prepackaging under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist. Candidates must hold an active ME pharmacy technician license.

Location:

Sunnyvale, CA (Bay Area)

Schedule:

Four days, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Six evening shifts, 1:00 PM to 9:30

PM Key Responsibilities:

Accurately fill prescriptions and prepackage medications in accordance with regulatory standards. Assist Pharmacists with final prescription checks and medication packaging for dispensing. Coordinate timely delivery of medications to customers. Support pharmacy inventory management, including receiving, rotating, and tracking medications. Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work environment and ensure equipment calibration. Collaborate closely with Pharmacy Management and Technician Supervisor for smooth operations.

Required Qualifications:

Valid ME pharmacy technician license in hand. Demonstrated experience in pharmacy technician roles, especially in long-term care or similar environments. Ability to work accurately under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and compliance.

Additional Information:

IV preparation is not part of this role; focus is on fulfillment technician duties. This is a short-term contract position ending May 31. Immediate start available.
