LTL Shipping Scheduler

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated LTL Shipping Scheduler to join our growing team. The ideal candidate possesses a professional attitude and will be familiar administrating shipments in online portals of major retail and e-commerce customers. In this role, your duties will include preparing routing shipments, moving freight to designated locations in our manufacturing/distribution center, maintain freight records, and assisting with the loading and unloading of goods to ensure orders are handled correctly and shipped out timely. You will be reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager.

Responsibilities:

Routing shipments, create ASN's and UCC 128 documents for customers. Ability to assist with loading and unloading of containers. Inventory allocation through system administration of manufacturing and sales orders. Ensure compliance through understanding and ability to follow vendor shipping and handling guidelines. Maintain a clean and safe working environment. Monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries, verify that loads have arrived on time and in good condition. Interface with customers in facilitating will-call orders. Read and match work orders and pick tickets that determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, and/or shipped by the appropriate carriers. Has secondary duties involving general warehouse functions, plus other tasks and projects assigned on an as-needed basis.

Qualifications and Skills:

Experience with UPS Wordship, FedEx Ship Manager, and Pacejet 3rd party shipping software Can operate a handheld scanner. Experience using NetSuite. Familiar with documents related to international shipping. Basic computer skills Able to create Bills of Lading online and manually. Previous forklift experience in a fast-paced environment, is a plus. Can operate a pallet jack. Basic verbal and written communication skills

Physical Demands and Abilities:

Must be able to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty. Can lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Ability to work in various temperatures, depending on the season. Ability to work overtime, if necessary, during our peak season.

Pay:

$21.00 - $23.00 per hour
