Role:
As an LVN (Licensed Vocational Nurse) at Avir at Burkburnett, your primary responsibility will be to provide direct nursing care to our residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of your assigned unit. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure that each resident receives high-quality care that meets their unique needs and preferences. This is a full-time position, offering a competitive compensation package and a comprehensive benefits program.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, performing treatments, and providing personal care Supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of your assigned unit, including directing and delegating tasks to certified nursing assistants (CNAs) Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident care and progress Participate in resident assessments, care planning, and quality improvement initiatives Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans Promote a positive and respectful environment for our residents, families, and colleagues
Qualifications:
Valid Texas Nurse License Valid CPR Certification I.V. Certification preferred Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care
