Shift Pay:

Entry-level position starting at $17.20/hour + 8% shift premium

Overtime:

JOB SUMMARY

We're hiring Machine Operators and will train you to run specialized cutting equipment used in book production. The objective of the 3-Knife Operator is to safely set up, change over and trim the three sides on all books running through the binder. The 3-Knife Operator works closely with the Binder Operator.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• High school Diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education or experience.
• One year of previous manufacturing or related experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as work orders, workplace, and safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Basic math skills, add subtract, and ability to use a measuring device.
• Basic problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working on your feet and using basic tools
• Reliable and able to work overnight shift
• Willingness to learn and grow

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Lift up to 50 lbs
• Stand and move throughout your shift
• Work in a fast-paced, industrial environment

SCHEDULE IS MONDAY TO FRIDAY, 3RD SHIFT

• 11 PM
• 7 AM
• Overtime pays time and a half after 40 hours per week
• 3rd shift pays an extra 8% on hours worked
