$42,765- 55,806, Pay commensurate with experience
Schedule:
8 hours/day, 5 days/week, 260 days/year
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma, required; associate or bachelor's degree in a related field, preferred.
  • A+ Certification or other Industry standard certification, preferred.
  • Driver's license & reliable transportation.
  • Proficiency in supporting Microsoft Windows, macOS, iPads, and Chromebooks.
  • Strong working knowledge of: ○ Microsoft Office Suite. ○ Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive, etc.). ○ PowerSchool Student Information System (SIS). ○ SeeSaw (Y5 - 5th) & Canvas (6th-12th) Learning Management Systems (LMS). ○ LAN, WAN, network communication, and wireless networks.
  • Ability to train and support individuals and groups of students and adults.
  • Troubleshooting and repair skills for iPads, computers, and printers.
  • Familiarity with imaging software for Windows systems.
  • Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) software for iOS/iPadOS & macOS management.
  • Knowledge of Google Admin Console and Microsoft Active Directory.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the management of the technology help desk by assigning tickets, ensuring they are actively being worked on, and managing help desk tickets with detailed documentation and resolutions.
  • Provide IT and A/V technology support across the district.
  • Offer technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues to staff and students.
  • Clean, configure, and maintain computer workstations, labs, and mobile devices.
  • Set up and maintain classroom technology, including flat panels/TVs, projectors, and A/V equipment.
  • Conduct formal and informal technology training sessions for staff and students, when necessary.
  • Support professional development initiatives related to technology use.
  • Oversee the installation and monitoring of building and district-wide software.
  • Monitor and report on cybersecurity concerns, including potential threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Provide support for the district phone system.
  • Install and configure cabling for IT and A/V systems.
  • Attend department, school, district, and WISD meetings as needed.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information (e.g., student and staff data, documentation, passwords, etc.).
  • Stay updated on new technology, software, and procedures to enhance district operations.
  • Climb ladders and access rooftops to support technology devices (e.g., wireless access points, security cameras, projectors, etc.).
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including occasional evening or weekend hours.
