Job details Summary Spherion $19.50 per hour Temp to Perm 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM Industry manufacturing & production (Production Occupations) Reference number S_175530 Job details We're looking for a hands-on Machine Operator to help us finish and sharpen specialized diamond cutting tools. If you're good with your hands and have an eye for detail, you'll fit right in helping us grind tools to the perfect size and shape.

Responsibilities:

... In this role, you???ll be the person making sure our tools look and perform great. You will set up and run manual grinding machines to smooth out and shape tool parts. You???ll spend a good chunk of your day checking your work using tools like micrometers and even microscopes to make sure everything is spot-on. You???ll need to follow basic instructions or drawings, keep a simple log of what you???ve made, and do some light cleaning and maintenance on your machine to keep things running smooth. Safety is a big deal here, so you???ll be wearing your safety gear and following common-sense shop rules every day.

PM Skills:

Prior vocational schooling or technical certification in machining or manufacturing. Familiarity with any precision grinding or diamond operations

A strong fundamental understanding of how machinery works and the ability to perform manual setups. The ability to read, interpret, and follow technical drawings and written work instructions.
