Job Description

Job Overview 2nd and 3rd shift opening! We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of machinery and equipment to produce high-quality products efficiently and safely. Your expertise in machine setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting will ensure smooth production processes while adhering to safety standards and quality specifications. Duties Operate a range of manufacturing machinery including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, flexo presses, press brake machines, and CNC programming equipment to produce parts according to specifications. Set up machines by installing tooling, adjusting controls, and programming using Fanuc controls, CAD/CAM software, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards. Conduct routine inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure parts meet quality standards. Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical issues on equipment like CNC machines, fabrication tools, and tooling systems to minimize downtime. Read blueprints and technical drawings accurately for proper assembly, fabrication, or machining processes. Handle materials safely using forklifts and other materials handling equipment; assist with packaging and warehouse organization as needed. Maintain detailed records of production activities, quality checks, and machine maintenance logs in compliance with safety regulations. Skills Proficiency in operating CNC programming software and CAM programming for precise machining operations. Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and automation systems used in manufacturing environments. Experience with fabrication tools such as welding equipment, stamping presses, press brakes, and hand tools for assembly line tasks. Ability to read blueprints accurately and interpret technical drawings using GD&T principles. Mechanical aptitude with understanding of factory machinery including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, and flexo presses. Familiarity with quality control procedures utilizing precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers. Warehouse experience including materials handling with forklifts; basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Solid understanding of manufacturing processes related to machining, fabrication, tooling setup, and assembly operations. $19.00 - $30.00 per hour
