Click below to apply! WAGO Corporation is seeking a Procurement Specialist experienced in using innovative procurement strategies to purchase goods and services for assigned product groups. Manage supplier relationships while leveraging expert negotiation skills and market insights to support business priorities. Effectively manage inventory levels. Collaborate with internal departments and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and quality compliance. This position is based in Germantown, Wisconsin. Experience and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, related field or 5+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management 4 years purchasing or sourcing experience Strategic sourcing expertise optimizing cost and quality while reducing risk Experience with supplier management; building relationships, resolving disputes and executing performance evaluations. Negotiating Analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in data analysis Project management and organizational skills to handle multiple priorities Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Strong verbal and written communication skills
Duties and Responsibilities :
Procure goods and services for the organization Resolve issues and discrepancies with suppliers regarding pricing, quality and delivery Manage RFQs and negotiate with suppliers Oversees procurement lifecycle - from initial source to final delivery Cultivate and maintain strategic partnership with critical vendors Lead vendor performance evaluations and implement improvement programs Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies Work with internal teams to understand procurement requirements Participate in strategic company projects.
