Machine Operator - Experienced

Summary This role supports in the efficient and safe production of high-quality food products. This position is responsible for operating and assisting with the operation of the production machinery, ensuring product quality, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented and results-oriented individual with a strong work ethic and a commitment to food safety and quality. Responsibilities Operate and monitor assigned production machinery according to established operating procedures and safety guidelines. Monitor the flow of products along the production line to ensure continuous flow of product. Feed raw materials into machines and monitor the production process for any deviations or malfunctions. Inspect products for quality defects and ensure compliance with established standards. Ensure finished goods are labelledaccurately and efficiently. Assist with production line set up and changeovers. Maintain a clean and organized work area , ensuring proper sanitation and hygiene practices. Immediately report any safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, or quality issues to the supervisor. Prepare and maintain production records and reports such as checklists, sanitation forms and material usage forms etc. Read and Interpret production schedules for smooth operations. Participate in cross-training across the production floor. Assist with other production tasks as needed, such as palletizing, loading, and unloading. Other duties as assigned

Safety Compliance:

Adheres to and follows Food Safety, Food Quality and SQF program requirements. Ensure compliance with all relevant food safety regulations, including HACCP, GMP, and any other applicable standards. Follow s all program guidelines for Halal and Kosher certifications. Follows plant GMP's.

Education/Experience :

Three plus (3+) years of progressively responsible production Operator experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Basic math and computer skills are required Ability to read, write and speak English preferred
