Position Overview:
We're looking for a dependable, hands-on Machine Operator with strong mechanical aptitude. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, understands how machines work, and takes pride in keeping equipment running smoothly. If you've spent time working on manufacturing equipment, older geared machines, or packaging systems—and still enjoy the work but want a more balanced pace—this could be a great fit.
What You'll Do:
Operate and monitor seed packaging (Holler) machines Perform routine maintenance, adjustments, and basic repairs Troubleshoot mechanical issues and keep production running smoothly Maintain strong quality control and accurate fill weights Pack orders, palletize shipments, and assist with daily operations Operate a forklift Drive a box truck for local material pickups Help with general shop organization and occasional projects
What We're Looking For:
Strong mechanical aptitude and practical troubleshooting skills Experience with manufacturing equipment, packaging machinery, or similar systems Comfort working with older mechanical equipment Background in fabrication, welding, or repair work is a plus Forklift experience preferred (or willingness to learn) Valid driver's license Reliable, organized, and able to multitask Team player with a positive, easygoing attitude
Pay:
$20•23 per hour, based on experience
Schedule:
Monday-Thursday:
6:45 AM•3:30
PM Friday:
6:45 AM•11:45 AM Flexibility available for the right candidate
