Machine Shop Helper

Duties Assist machinists with setup, operation, and maintenance of CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, press brake machines, stamping presses, and other fabrication equipment Handle materials using forklifts and other materials handling tools to ensure smooth workflow within the manufacturing facility Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions and ensure quality standards are met Prepare tooling, fixtures, and raw materials for machining operations, ensuring proper placement and safety compliance Maintain cleanliness and organization of the machine shop area, including tool storage and workspace safety protocols

MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK.

Skills Knowledge of factory safety procedures, materials handling equipment such as forklifts, and warehouse experience Basic math skills essential for measurements, calculations, and quality control tasks Familiarity with fabrication processes including welding, tooling setup, assembly line operations, and packaging workflows This role is perfect for individuals passionate about manufacturing who want to grow their technical skills in a supportive environment.
