Part-Time Seasonal or Year Round Reports to: AGM, Stardust Motel About The Shuttle at Stardust Motel The Stardust Motel is a retro-modern gem in the heart of Wallace, Idaho, serving as a basecamp for adventure in the Silver Valley. The Shuttle, operated by the Stardust Motel, provides safe and reliable transportation for cyclists along the world-famous Route of the Hiawatha and Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes , as well as skiers and snowboarders headed to Lookout Pass Ski Resort . Our mission is to make every ride as welcoming and memorable as the journey itself. Position Overview We are seeking enthusiastic, safety-focused Sunday Shuttle Driver to join our team for the 2026 adventure season. Drivers will provide professional, timely, and friendly transportation services for hotel guests and visitors. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys the outdoors, values small-town hospitality, and wants to be part of Wallace's thriving tourism community. Responsibilities Safely operate The Shuttle (Ford Transit van with bike trailer in summer and ski rack in the winter) Provide transportation for cyclists, skiers, boarders, and hotel guests to designated trailheads, ski areas, and local destinations. Assist guests with loading and unloading bikes, skis, snowboards, and luggage as needed. Deliver excellent customer service with a warm, welcoming attitude—be the friendly first and last face of the day's adventure. Complete scheduled pick-ups and drop-offs on time. Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the shuttle vehicle. Report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly. Follow all traffic laws and company safety protocols. Qualifications CDL not required but strongly preferred with passenger endorsement. Valid driver's license with clean driving record. Must be at least 21 years old. Strong commitment to safety and guest service. Ability to lift and load bikes, skis, and gear as needed up to 60lbs Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, see, hear, sit, drive a shuttle for extended periods of time; squat, kneel and bend, reach with hands and arms. Regularly work/drive in adverse weather conditions. Frequently drive in bright sunlight. Exposure Ability to pass background and drug test Local knowledge of Wallace, Route of the Hiawatha, Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes, and Lookout Pass (preferred but teachable). Schedule & Perks Seasonal position: 2026

Late May thru October (or when rains start if earlier)
Winter Ski Shuttle:
Lookout ski season
  • roughly mid Nov through April Pay $15-20/hr DOE and licenses.
