Machine Shop Seeking Quality Inspector $33/hour Permanent Opening

Position Summary The Quality Inspector is responsible for performing inspections throughout all stages of production, from first article through final inspection. This role ensures that all products meet customer specifications and internal quality standards while supporting manufacturing and quality processes.

Responsibilities:

First inspection through final inspection Operate a CMM Review and sign engineering drawings and routers in manufacturing, planning and quality planning before issue to make sure customer specifications are correct Complete paperwork Review non-conformance reports and coordinate corrective/preventive actions Coordinate calibration system for measuring equipment, gages, and fixtures Standard quality control measuring devices: verniers, micrometers, height gages

Qualifications:

Need experience to inspect parts from first piece through final inspection Ability to operate a CMM Experience with verniers, calipers, micrometers, height gauges Able to read a ruler Must have blueprint reading skills Ability to read and interpret machining and fabrication drawings, work instructions and engineering specifications Understanding of manufacturing specifications Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals Good math skills including calculating figures and amounts Able to apply basic concepts of algebra and geometry Hours Monday through Friday

• 7am to 3:30pm Compensation The pay is up to $33.
