Machinist - Any Shift

Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining processes and the ability to work with precision tools and equipment. This role is essential in producing high-quality components that meet strict specifications and standards. Duties Set up and operate various types of machinery, including lathes, mills, and grinders. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models to determine machining requirements. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure accuracy. Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with engineers and other team members to troubleshoot issues and improve processes. Program CNC machines for automated production runs when necessary. Weld components as required for assembly or repair. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Skills Proficient in the use of power tools and hand tools relevant to machining tasks. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex machinery operations. Experience with SolidWorks or other CAD software for design purposes. Familiarity with Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) techniques is a plus. Ability to perform programming tasks for CNC machines effectively. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration within a team environment. Pay:

$20.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
