293417860 Job Description Express has partnered with a family-oriented manufacturing company seeking great people to join their team of talented engineers, fabricators, and machinists. This company provides a professional and fun environment working with a diversified set of customers, products, equipment, and manufacturing processes. An AISC Certified Fabricator, they work with General Construction, Marine Construction, Renewable Energy, Space and Defense, and other industries with a need for metal fabrication and specialized custom equipment. We are seeking an entry to intermediate level CNC Machine Operator that has experience as a machinist in both CNC machine operation as well as manual machine tools. The position requires knowledge of machining techniques and methods and familiarity with computer numerically controlled machine tool operating procedures, plus the ability to follow written instructions and read drawings. If you are motivated self-starter, have excellent communication skills, and are dedicated, collaborative, professional, results-oriented, and highly reliable, we think you might be a great addition to our team and would love to learn more about you.

Job Duties:

• Knowledge of CNC, Lathe, Mill Turn and Manual machine operations
• Effective communication, relationship, time-management, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to drive continuous improvement processes and standards
• Ability to work well independently and cross-functionally as part of an established and growing team
• Requires working knowledge of geometry, trigonometry, and basic algebra
• Ability to read detailed drawings or files, including drawings, sketches, and those for computer-aided design (CAD)and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) ALSO Compute and verify dimensions, sizes, shapes, and tolerances of workpieces of completed products meeting requirements
• Set up, operate, and disassemble manual, automatic, and computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools
• Measure dimensions of completed products or workpieces to verify conformance.

Schedule:

 Monday-Friday, 8 hour shifts, may require some overtime work
