Maintenance and Lubrication Technician

Job Description:

Full-Time, Primary Function would be doing lube work and preventive maintenance on Heavy Machinery. Supporting the plant maintenance team on maintenance projects including screen decks, conveyors, feeders, chutes, pumps, etc. With training you would learn to perform mechanical repairs and installations on various types of surface mining equipment including stationary crushers, mobile crushers, conveyor systems, screen decks, mobile processing equipment, etc. Less than 100 employees.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Doing lube work and preventive maintenance on Heavy Machinery
• Supporting the plant maintenance team on maintenance projects With Training....
• Diagnosing and repairing surface mining equipment.
• Performing maintenance and repairs on hydraulic systems, pumps, gear boxes, head/tail pulleys, etc.
• Weld/Fabricate steel structures, hoppers, chutes, etc.

Experience/Skills:

• Able to follow directions and work as a team player, at times with little supervision.
• Track record of safely and attention to detail.
• Experience working to lube and do preventive maintenance on vehicles
• heavy equipment preferred
• Skilled at welding horizontal and vertical work pieces.

Education/Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• Mechanical/Welding certification a plus.
• Proper paperwork to document that you are authorized to work in the US
• Pass Pre-employment drug test and background check

Physical Demands:

• Working hours may exceed 10 hour shifts, M-F and most Saturdays.
• This job requires working with your hands, lifting heavy objects.
• This job requires working in elevated areas and equipment.
• This job requires working outside in all kinds of weather.
• Attention to Safety when working on and around mining equipment and moving machinery.
