Updated 08/27/2026 Job Description Job Summary Aircraft Mechanic (H-60) We are seeking experienced Aircraft Mechanics to join a veteran-friendly aviation maintenance team in Northern Alabama. This long-term opportunity supports maintenance repairs on military rotary-wing aircraft. This position offers excellent earning potential, long-term stability, and the opportunity to work alongside a highly skilled team. Compensation & Benefits

Hourly Rate:

Up to $40.00/hour

Per Diem:

Up to $54,080.00 annually (tax-free), based on $1040.00/week in tax-exempt per diem (eligibility dependent) Contract Length

• Minimum 12-month commitment

• 5/8 Schedule
• Voluntary overtime available weekly Key Responsibilities
• Perform heavy battle damage repair and structural modifications on rotary-wing aircraft
• Conduct maintenance and repair of aircraft structures, components, and assemblies
• Interpret engineering drawings, technical manuals, and repair procedures
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with military specifications and quality standards
• Document maintenance and repair activities accurately Qualifications
• Previous experience on military or civilian aircraft required
• Experience on H-60 or similar rotary-wing aircraft highly preferred
• Ability to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
