Job Title:
A&P Mechanic Job Description We are seeking skilled A&P Maintenance Technicians to join our expanding maintenance team at Miami International Airport. This position offers an exciting opportunity for aviation maintenance professionals who are passionate about safety, reliability, and delivering high-quality aircraft maintenance in a dynamic airline environment. Responsibilities Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on company aircraft. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair aircraft mechanical and electrical systems. Conduct inspections in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer maintenance manuals, and company policies. Remove, install, test, and adjust aircraft systems and components. Perform line maintenance, overnight checks, and aircraft return-to-service activities. Accurately document maintenance actions and complete work orders in compliance with regulatory requirements. Coordinate with Maintenance Control and other departments to ensure aircraft dispatch reliability. Adhere to all safety, quality, and security procedures while maintaining a clean and organized work area. Essential Skills Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate. Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, IPCs, wiring diagrams, and engineering documents. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Must be able to work independently and within a team environment. Ability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as operationally required. Strong commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Additional Skills & Qualifications Prior experience performing maintenance on Embraer EMB-145 aircraft. Experience on similar regional jet platforms such as EmbraerE145/E170/E175, CRJ-200/700/900, ERJ
Series Aircraft. Previous airline, MRO, regional carrier, or Part 145 repair station experience. Experience with aircraft troubleshooting, inspections, and heavy maintenance activities. Familiarity with FAA regulations, airworthiness directives, and maintenance record keeping. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in hangar and line maintenance environments, with shifts available from Sun-Wed 8:00pm to 6:30am or Wed-Fri 8:00pm to 4:30pm. Physical requirements include the ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds, work on ladders, aircraft stands, and in confined spaces, and perform duties in varying weather conditions on the airport ramp. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Miami, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $104000.00/yr.
