Updated 06/2026 Job Description Job Summary The majority of work will be airframe repairs with powerplant R&R on all types of general aviation aircraft at our location in central Arkansas. In addition to repairs and maintenance, there will also be many opportunities to travel nationwide transporting aircraft. We are a major airframe repair facility and are searching for A&Ps with sheet metal experience or who are able to learn. Specialty tools are provided, but basic hand tools are required. 2080 hours per year (overtime available) Monday-Friday 8-5 & 1 hour lunch
Annual Paid Time Off:
6 paid holidays & 1 floating paid holiday per year Retirement Plan Matching (Simple IRA) - employer matching contributions after each paycheck. Dawson Aircraft matches 100% of employee contributions up to 3% of employee's semi-monthly paycheck. Accrued Paid Vacation starting at 1.7 hours per pay period amounting to 40 hours in the first year, increasing 1 day or .33 hours per pay period annually until max at 120 hours (3 weeks) Health Insurance-Company pays 1/2 of employee $9,564.96 (pre-tax) policy -employee cost $4,782.48/year $199.27, semi-monthly, subject to annual renewal amount changes; $1000 deductible) Family coverage is available at additional costs.
