Aircraft Mechanic Job Description

https://form.jotform.com/231015636618150 Do you love to travel? We are looking for a mechanic to work up 6 months a year supporting wildland fire fighting activities. This is normally across the western US in the summer. Our highest salary position will work 12 days on 2 days off. You will be doing preflight and post flight on Aircraft and AOG repairs. This is not an entry level position. You must have verifiable experience on Citations. Must be able to work independently. For 6 months a year you will be based in Roger's AR working 7 days on 7 days off. There are multiple schedules available including 12 days on 12 days off year round at lower salary. This is not a position for people that hate being bored and are not good at keeping themselves busy. During the fire season there will be very little time doing maintenance. Most work will be doing pre and post flights and AOG repairs.

Compensation:

Compensation is commensurate with experience, certifications, and overall qualifications. The expected annual salary range for this position is approximately $70,000 to $100,000, with higher compensation for candidates with greater citation experience and/or an Inspection Authorization (IA) certification and work 12 on 2 off for up to six months a year

Bentonville, AR Additional Requirements:

Drug screening and background check required Valid driver's license Must be excited to travel as extensively. Overnight travel will be required including deployments on fire fighting operations outside of Northwest Arkansas Perform pre and post flights Perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance in accordance with FAA regulations and company standards Maintenance personnel perform the actual aircraft maintenance and cleaning. These tasks include, but are not limited to, the repairing, troubleshooting, checking (either functional or operational) and maintaining the condition of the company's aircraft exterior and interior. All work performed by maintenance personnel will be conducted under the direct supervision of the Director of Maintenance. The mechanic is required to comply with all policies, procedures, and directives outlined in the General Operations Manual (GOM), as well as follow all instructions and guidance provided by the Director of Maintenance. Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and service aircraft systems and components Ensure all maintenance tasks are completed accurately, safely, and on schedule Read and interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and technical data Properly document all maintenance performed in accordance with FAA requirements Assist in diagnosing mechanical and structural issues and recommend corrective actions Support aircraft modifications, repairs, and inspections as assigned Ensure tools, equipment, and work areas are maintained in a clean, safe, and organized condition Follow all safety procedures, including Tool Control and Foreign Object Damage (FOD) prevention practices Work collaboratively with other mechanics, technicians, and supervisors to complete tasks efficiently Communicate maintenance status, discrepancies, and repair needs to supervisors Assist with parts tracking, inventory, and basic maintenance planning as needed Maintain compliance with all FAA, manufacturer, and company policies and procedures Participate in ongoing training to remain current on aircraft systems and maintenance practices Provide support during audits and inspections as required Other duties as assigned

Pay:

$70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
