AOG Resources is seeking FAA-licensed A&P Mechanics with 3+ years of commercial MRO experience to perform heavy C/D checks, systems troubleshooting, and aircraft storage/reactivation protocols in Marana/Tucson, AZ.

Job Summary

We are seeking skilled A&P Mechanics with 3+ years of commercial MRO experience to join a premier heavy maintenance and storage facility in the Marana/Tucson, AZ area. In this role, you will perform heavy C/D checks, line maintenance, structural component changes, and flight-line servicing on commercial narrowbody and widebody aircraft. You will also execute storage, preservation, and reactivation protocols to maintain aircraft airworthiness in strict compliance with FAA Part 145 regulations.

Qualifications & Skills

Minimum Requirements:

License:

Active FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate.

Experience:

3+ years of hands-on aircraft maintenance experience in a commercial MRO, heavy depot, or flight-line environment.

Technical Aptitude:

Proven proficiency in heavy airframe maintenance, mechanical component rigging, hydraulic troubleshooting, and reading technical engineering data.

Tools:

Must possess a complete personal set of standard calibrated aviation hand tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience on commercial transport airframes (e.g., Boeing 737/747/767/777 or Airbus

A320/A330

series).

Experience with heavy C/D checks, engine removals/installs, or aircraft preservation/reactivation procedures.

Active RII (Required Inspection Items) buy-back authorization.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

Work is performed in active maintenance hangars, storage yards, and outdoor flight ramps in a desert environment.

Physical capability to stand, kneel, crouch, crawl, and work in tight or confined spaces (belly holds, fuel cells, avionics bays) for extended periods.

Comfort working at elevated heights on scaffolding, tail stands, and aerial lifts using fall protection harnesses.

Ability to routinely lift, carry, or position tools and heavy aircraft components weighing up to 50 lbs.
