Job Summary

Engine Mechanic - Fighter Jets

We are seeking experienced Aviation Maintenance Mechanics to join a growing defense aviation team in Central, AZ. This role supports heavy maintenance on fighter jet aircraft within a Department of Defense (DOD) aviation environment. 5/8 Schedule

1st

Shift:

Monday-Friday, 5:00 AM - 2:00 PM

2nd

Shift:

Monday-Friday, 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM

Overtime opportunities available

Key Responsibilities

Perform heavy maintenance on fighter jet aircraft

Conduct aircraft inspections, repairs, modifications, and maintenance

Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and aircraft system discrepancies

Perform maintenance in accordance with technical manuals, DOD requirements, and applicable quality standards

Accurately document completed maintenance actions and inspections

Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and attention to detail

Work effectively within a team in a fast-paced defense aviation environment

Qualifications

Previous experience performing aircraft maintenance in an MRO, military, or defense aviation environment preferred

Fighter jet or military aircraft maintenance experience is highly desirable

Ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and technical documentation

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

Commitment to safety, quality, and following established procedures

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Military aviation maintenance experience is highly valued
