    Aircraft Structural Technician (Beale AFB, CA)
  • U-2 Aircraft

SkyBridge Aviation is hiring Aircraft Structural Technicians to support aircraft modification work at Beale AFB, California.

The Aircraft Structural Technician will plan, lay out, fabricate, assemble, install, and repair both internal and external aircraft structures and surfaces for aircraft modification in accordance with technical manuals, engineering drawings, and FAA regulations.

This position supports the U-2 aircraft program. U-2 experience is preferred but not required.

Schedule:

5/8s schedule

Potential 6/10s to 6/12s during surge periods

California paid overtime will apply

Pay & Per Diem:

$40.00

  • 45.

00 per hour based on experience

DoD per diem available for eligible contractors

100% per diem for the first 90 days

55% per diem from day 91 through completion

Requirements

Requirements:

4-6 years of aircraft structural fabrication experience

4-6 years of recent Aircraft structures experience

2-4 years of aircraft part fabrication experience

2-4 years of metal fabrication experience

Active security clearance required

Ability to work from technical manuals and engineering drawings

Must be able to meet access requirements for a government installation

Preferred Experience:

1-2 years of U-2 experience preferred

Fighter aircraft experience preferred, including:

F-16

F-18

F-22

F-35

Preferred Training:

Candidates with previous training in the following areas are encouraged to provide copies of completion documentation:

FOD & Tool Control

Non-Powered Ground Support Equipment

Egress Systems Familiarization

HAZMAT Storage/Handling

Aircraft Records Management

Additional Requirement:
