We are currently seeking dedicated, skilled, and safety-oriented Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Mechanics to join our growing maintenance team. As an A&P Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, 100 hour inspections, troubleshooting, repairs and upgrades on a fleet of Piper and Cirrus aircraft. You will ensure all work is completed in strict accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer specifications, and company quality standards under the direction of the lead mechanic. Responsibilities Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repairs on aircraft, including airframe, powerplant, avionics, and mechanical systems. Conduct detailed inspections using the AMM and manufacturer's Annual/100 hour inspection checklist Be an active participant on helping a growing maintenance department improve every day Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities using Flight Schedule Pro and TBX AD tracking software to ensure compliance is up to date. Skills Ability to read and interpret a maintenance manual and apply it to real world aircraft maintenance Familiarity with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR), quality standards, and aviation safety procedures. Ability to perform all aspects of a 100 hour inspection on primarily Piper PA28 aircraft Skilled in the use of specialized industrial tools such as power tools, hand tools, torque wrenches, safety wire pliers, air compressors, nitrogen bottles, battery chargers. Ability to take initiative and assure the quality of one's own work.
