The Line Service Technician is responsible for a wide variety of tasks at Mather Aviation. From greeting arriving planes and moving them into the hangar to shuttling customers around the city, the Line Service Technician often serves as the face of our company to our customers. The Line Service Technician's day will involve many different tasks including moving and repositioning aircraft inside/outside the hangar, fueling aircraft, washing and detailing aircraft, hangar cleanup, restocking supplies, running errands, and maintaining shop equipment. All applicants will be subject to initial and ongoing random drug tests per FAA regulations. Required Experience Self-motivated Reliable Positive "can-do" attitude Excellent customer service skills Ability to communicate effectively with both other employees and customers. Strong communication skills required, both verbal and written Possess and maintain valid driver's license with driving record acceptable to company policy Ability to perform work outside and in (at times) extreme temperatures and inclement weather Requires frequent walking Requires stretching, bending, and climbing Requires dexterity to manipulate hand and power tools Ability to lift up to 50 pounds High School diploma or equivalent required Preferred Experience Previous Line Service experience is a plus. Knowledge of Microsoft Windows based computers Knowledge of Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, Outlook) Flexible schedule Job Location Mather, California, United States Position Type Full-Time/Regular All applicants will be subject to initial and ongoing random drug tests per FAA requirements.
