Full Job Description Overview:
Well established 45 year old aviation company, "WesPac Air," is hiring with immediate career openings to work at the San Francisco International Airport, as an Aircraft Appearance Technician (AAT) with pay starting between $22.51 to $26.00 per hr. with PTO and FULL medical benefits from DAY ONE ! Responsibilities:
If you join our team as a technician, your main responsibilities will include: Applying dry polish (aviation wax) to the exterior painted surfaces of the aircraft to prevent corrosion and enhance fuel efficiency. Polishing and buffing the aircraft to a very clean, smooth and shiny finish. Using lift equipment to reach higher sections (areas) of the aircraft fuselage, engine cowlings and tail. All positions start @ $22.51 per hour. Starting pay will be higher if…..you have proven aircraft experience in a related position, if you have proven experience detailing high end vehicles and/or verifiable experience operating scissors and/or boom lift. Medical/Dental benefits will be offered starting the first day of employment and also paid time off (PTO/Sick) accrual.
Shifts available:
Day Shift Monday-Saturday 0700-1800
Qualifications:
Position Requirements:
Must prioritize safety to the top of workplace practices. Must be able to obtain a United Airlines "Maintenance Operations Center" (MOC) badge. Must pass a ten-year background check and pass airport computer-based training program to obtain an airport security ID badge (AOA/SIDA). Must be able to lift, stand, bend, twist, push and pull objects frequently. Must be a team player, reliable, conscientious and (prefer) detail oriented. Must be able to work in a range of environmental conditions, including rain, cold, strong sunlight and decreased visibility. No prior experience or driver's license necessary. Government sponsored/issued ID a minimum.
