Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
Performs preventative maintenance and alterations of aircraft adhering to specifications and safety standards. Inspects aircraft engines, landing gear, instruments, pressurized sections, accessories, brakes, valves, pumps, and air-conditioning systems. Maintains records related to maintenance performed and signs mechanical flight releases. Repairs sheet metal or composite surfaces. Reads and interprets blueprints and aircraft wiring diagrams. Removes and disassembles defective parts, assembles and installs replacement parts, and tests aircraft systems. Performs routine inspections, troubleshooting, airframe structures, engines, and aircraft systems. Performs airframe and powerplant repairs and modifications to meet Company, Client, and FAA requirements. Tows and parks aircraft. Uses power tools and equipment necessary to accomplish job assignments.
Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR). High School Diploma or equivalent. Current, valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License with no history of infractions. Knowledge and understanding of the English language. One year of previous line maintenance experience. Must have standard aircraft maintenance toolbox. Experience or training on at least two commercial aircraft types (A319, A320, A321, B737, B767, B777, or E190 preferred). Ability to legally operate a motorized vehicle. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical. Ability to stand, lie down, kneel, climb stairs, scaffolds, or ladders. Ability to frequently lift, pull, and hold objects weighing more than 70 pounds. Ability to work in environments with noise and vibration (ear protection required).
