THE OPPORTUNITY

This position is in Woodland, CA. You'll have the opportunity to be a part of a team environment focused on creating raving fans internally and externally. You will be responsible for performing the inspection, maintenance, and repair of Safran Helicopter Engines in a Level 3 Certified Maintenance Center, and in the field at customer locations as needed. This position provides excellent career advancement. This is a unique position for the right candidate, with an opportunity to receive highly specialized training and support unique and interesting programs. This position reports directly to the Director of Engine Services.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

(Essential Functions) To perform this job successfully, you'll need to be able to perform each essential duty.

Accepts mentorship and coaching from Level II, III, and IV technicians and maintenance managers. Actively participates in and documents continuous on-the-job training. Additional job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or management.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE HANGAR

(Required Qualifications) A&P Certificate under 14 CFR § 65.81, 65.85, 65.87, or 65.103 or has obtained a completed / signed FAA From 8610-2 (or equivalent). Possesses at least 18 months of pertinent, verifiable, practical experience. Clean & valid driver's license Must be eligible for DOD clearance. Must be able to pass pre-employment background check and FAA regulated drug test prior to start. Post-employment will be enrolled in our Safety Sensitive Drug and Alcohol Program. Must be eligible to work in the U.S. Understanding and experience within a Part 145 repair station. Previous experience with Safran or Turbomeca helicopter engines.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a Full-time, non-exempt position. Must be available, as needed, evenings and weekends for overtime. This position is onsite or in the field as needed. Travel This position may require occasional travel. Some out-of-area and overnight travel may be required.
