Opportunity:
Join our client's dynamic team in the sun-drenched city of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where you will play a key role in ensuring the safety and performance of piston engines in general aviation. Responsibilities Execute troubleshooting, inspections, and necessary maintenance on piston engines in compliance with applicable regulations, manufacturer instructions, and company policies. Ensure accurate and consistent maintenance records by completing all required forms and documentation. Adhere to company policies and environmental, health, and safety procedures. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Operate machinery and forklifts safely while performing assigned duties. Perform physical tasks, including lifting objects up to 85 pounds, standing, stooping, kneeling, and walking. Work effectively in changing climate conditions and moderate noise levels. Work full-time, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Requirements Powerplant (P) Certificate preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience in piston engine assembly, with a focus on Textron Lycoming and Continental Motors engines. Preferably 10 years of experience with the same company. Strong knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations and manufacturer overhaul and parts manuals. Own adequate tools required for the job. Proficiency in reading and speaking English. Strong customer and service orientation. Ability to work effectively as part of a team with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
