Shift Schedule:
o Must be available to work 1st Shift (5:30 AM - 2:30 PM) or 2nd Shift (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM) o Mandatory overtime and weekend work required as needed
POSITION / OPPORTUNITY OVERVIEW
  • We are seeking experienced Sheet Metal Assembly Mechanics to support the fabrication, assembly, and installation of structural aircraft components in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment .
  • This role involves performing structural assembly, sheet metal fabrication, drilling, riveting, fitting, and rework activities while ensuring compliance with engineering drawings, production specifications, and quality standards .

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Fabricate, assemble, fit, and install aircraft sheet metal and structural components.
  • Perform drilling, riveting, fastening, trimming, and rework of aircraft structures.
  • Install, modify, and maintain aircraft sheet metal and composite assemblies.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, work instructions, and production specifications.
  • Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Perform inspections of completed work and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to complete assembly tasks.
  • Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and production requirements.
  • Work independently and within a team environment to meet production schedules.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
  • 3+ years of aviation sheet metal, structures, or structural assembly experience
  • Experience performing aircraft structural assembly, fabrication, installation, and repair
  • Ability to successfully pass a technical interview and hands-on plate test
  • Ability to pass verbal, virtual, and practical skills assessments
  • Previous experience with aircraft structures assembly , preferably supporting Boeing, Gulfstream, or similar aircraft programs
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions
  • Strong knowledge of aircraft sheet metal tools, fabrication techniques, and precision measuring equipment
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality workmanship
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
  • Must be available to work assigned shifts, overtime , and weekends as required
  • Ability to wear a respirator and other required personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Ability to complete a pre-employment 10-year Criminal Background Check, and standard FAA DOT drug test.
  • Proof of Authorization to Work in the U.S. required.
  • Reliable personal transportation/vehicle required.
  • Valid US Driver's License.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Regularly lift and move up to 30 pounds ; occasionally up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequent use of hands and tools requiring strong hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, kneel, and stoop for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in various physical positions throughout the shift.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and maintain situational awareness in a production environment.
