Job Description

Aircraft Structures Mechanic Location:
Lake City, FL Pay:
$1,200 per week at 40 hours (not including overtime). For exact pay rates including per diem (if qualified), please apply and a VP Aviation recruiter will contact you directly. VP Aviation Technical Services is hiring experienced Aircraft Structures Mechanics for a contract opportunity performing heavy maintenance on commercial aircraft in an MRO environment in Lake City, Florida. Job Duties Fabricate, repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft structural components. Perform structural repairs in accordance with approved maintenance procedures. Read and interpret maintenance manuals, blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical documents. Use aircraft maintenance tools, gauges, and measuring equipment. Document all work performed accurately. Follow company quality and safety procedures. Requirements 2-3 years of recent commercial aircraft structures experience. Previous heavy maintenance or MRO experience preferred. Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals and engineering drawings. Must have own tools. Must have reliable transportation.
