Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking experienced A&P Mechanics for a leading heavy commercial MRO facility in Lakeland, Florida. This position supports scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, repairs, and inspections on narrow-body commercial aircraft in a fast-paced hangar environment. Candidates must have strong heavy maintenance experience and be comfortable working on large transport-category aircraft during C-checks, structural repairs, and return-to-service projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and inspections on commercial aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations and company standardsComplete heavy maintenance tasks including C-checks, structural repairs, system removals/installations, and component replacementsRead and interpret maintenance manuals, engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical dataConduct inspections of airframes, engines, landing gear, hydraulic systems, and related componentsEnsure all work is properly documented in compliance with FAA and customer requirementsMaintain a safe, clean, and organized work environmentCollaborate with team members, leads, inspectors, and management to meet production schedules and aircraft delivery deadlinesFollow all safety procedures and quality standards throughout the maintenance process
Requirements
Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License requiredB737 NG Gen Fam requiredMinimum 2+ years of heavy commercial aircraft maintenance experience requiredStrong recent experience in heavy commercial MRO environments requiredExperience specifically on Boeing 757, Boeing 737, and Airbus
A319 / A320 / A321
strongly preferredExperience with heavy checks, overnight maintenance, and structural repair work preferredAbility to read and interpret technical manuals and engineering documentsMust have own basic tools required for the positionAbility to work overtime, weekends, and flexible shifts as neededMust be able to pass pre-employment screenings and comply with airport/security requirementsStrong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
