ROCKET AIR AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE

seeks General Aviation Aircraft Technicians to provide high-quality maintenance and repair services to Rocket Air customers' aircraft. This role performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshoots and diagnoses problems, and ensures all work is performed in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and company procedures.

Main Roles and Responsibilities Prioritize Safety Above All Troubleshoot, Diagnose and Repair Aircraft Issues Maintain a Clean and Productive Work Area Maintain Technical Aeronautical Knowledge Recordkeeping and Documentation Duties and Responsibilities Ensure all work is performed in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures. Ensure aircraft are ready for flight and in safe operating condition before releasing them to customers. Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on general aviation aircraft, including single-engine and multi-engine piston aircraft. Troubleshoot and diagnose aircraft systems, including electrical, hydraulic, and avionics systems. Conduct repairs on aircraft components, including engines, propellers, and landing gears. Work collaboratively with other mechanics and staff to ensure efficient and effective service delivery to customers. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, and ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and calibrated. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of aeronautical regulations, operational procedures, and industry standards. Regularly updates technical and aeronautical expertise through training, self-study, and operational experience. Document all maintenance and repair work in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required . Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license required . 2-3 years of recent general aviation experience preferred . Strong knowledge of Part 91 regulations, aircraft systems, structures, and avionics. Proficient in interpreting technical manuals, drawings, and maintenance instructions. Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform meticulous inspections. Solid problem-solving skills and ability to make accurate decisions based on thorough analysis. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate inspection findings, recommendations, and maintenance requirements. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and quality of work. Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment. Familiarity with computerized maintenance tracking systems and software.
