- What Success Looks Like (Objectives):
- + Lead end-to-end mechanical packaging and box-level design of IFE and connectivity hardware from concept through production release + Perform rigorous thermal and structural finite element analyses alongside classical calculations to validate design integrity + Support department OKRs by maintaining product delivery timelines, reducing design iterations, and upholding strict compliance with DO-160 testing standards + Collaborate with cross-functional teams, Boeing engineering, and suppliers to ensure structural interface compatibility and seamless system integration + Leverage AI Application tools to automate tolerance stack calculations, optimize thermal dissipation models, and accelerate GD&T generation •Skills, Experience and Requirements•Core Skills and Competencies (What you'll bring):•+ Advanced technical mastery in 3D CAD modeling, GD&T, and tolerance analysis using
ASME Y14.5
standards + Comprehensive expertise in aerospace material selection, environmental qualification, and DO-160 compliance testing + Strong analytical skills in thermal management, structural simulation, and CAE finite element analysis tools + Proven cross-functional collaboration capabilities to coordinate across electrical, system, manufacturing, and external test teams + Practical AI Application skills to enhance generative CAD designs and streamline engineering documentation workflowsAdditional Qualifications:
- + Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field + Prior experience with Boeing and Airbus IFE/connectivity qualifications, Boeing Line Fit programs, or SFE/BFE programs + Familiarity with DFM/DFA principles, HALT/HASS testing, and aircraft structural installation methodologies

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field +
Minimum Experience:
- 4+ years of experience in hands-on mechanical design for aerospace, electronics hardware, or communications equipment +
Required Technical Skills:
- Must have at least 4 years of experience with: + 3D CAD modeling, detailed drawing creation, and tolerance analysis + Structural and thermal analysis using analytical methods and FEA tools + Environmental and mechanical testing planning and execution Visa sponsorship not available for this role
