As an Interiors Mechanic, youll play a key role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and appearance of commercial aircraft interiors. From lavatory systems to cabin seating, you'll troubleshoot, repair, and maintain the components that define the in-flight experience. We are a renowned provider of aircraft maintenance and modification (AMM) services for commercial airlines and air freight operators. What YOU will do:
Responsible for interior maintenance and repair on Commercial Aircraft types. Prepare parts requisitions and order, research illustrated parts (IPC) and orders parts as needed, remove and reinstall lavatory, galley, passenger service unit (PSU), closet and windscreen, perform operational check and drop check of the passenger oxygen system, perform passenger seat break over check and pitch alignment ,maintenance and repair of seats, install mylar, cut and serge carpet from prints, knowledge of all aircraft manuals, and related materials, knowledge of ATA codes and maintenance procedures, knowledge of all applicable F.A.R's and company policies and procedures, knowledge of all paperwork procedures including job cards/ time cards, routine/ non-routine cards, S.R.M.'s, service bulletins and work sign-off/sell-off procedures .Be proficient with all preceding level attributes. Be able to lead groups as Supervisor/Manger requires.In This Role YOU will:
1. Advanced Troubleshooting Skills 2. Fluent Blueprint and LOPA Reading Skills 3. Perform all leak and ops checks (wastewater, potable water and O2 systems) 4.Basic knowledge of related:
5. Capable of all A/C Removals, Installs, Repairs and O/Hs 6. Can work A/C Mods, EOs, ADs, and Service Bulletins 7. Able to look up SB, BMS, BAC, SRM, CMM, etc. 8. Able to write N/R's, order parts and perform all levels of Interiors Inspection per work cards 9. Able to install, cover and paint Interior items 10. Able to comply with all N/R's and R/T work cards (and evaluate N/R's) 11. Able to service 02 bottles in shop and A/C 12. Advanced knowledge of FARs / RSQCMs / PPMsPHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT
Requires easy mobility around various sections of aircraft and the dexterity to remove, rectify and replace systems or components in a timely manner. Requires mental skills and quickness with the ability to cope with stress and intense effort or exertion usually caused by long working hours. Must have the capacity to gain knowledge by hearing for one's own safety due to the dangers involved. Must possess the ability to distinguish colors to perform work adequately. Working environment requires standing 90 of the workday on hard surfaces. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. And report to work regularly. What YOU must bring toSucceed:
