Posted 06/2026 Job Description Job Summary STS Technical Services is hiring A&P Mechanics to join the team in Pompano Beach, Florida. In this role, you'll perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs on TBM and Kodiak aircraft at a certified Part 145 Repair Station. This is a hands-on, full-time opportunity offering competitive pay, long-term career potential, and the chance to work on high-performance aircraft in a fast-paced environment. Position Overview As an A&P Mechanic, you'll be responsible for maintaining airframe, powerplant, and propeller systems in accordance with FAA regulations and manufacturer specifications. You'll work with a skilled team, interpreting technical data, performing system diagnostics, and ensuring the safe and reliable operation of aircraft fleet. Key Responsibilities Able to use FAA-approved data, i.e., IPC, AMM, OHM, CMM, etc., proficiently. Performs airframe, powerplant, and propeller repairs and modifications required to meet company and FAA requirements Removal and disassembly of defective parts; assembly and installation of replacement parts; and testing aircraft systems Performs routine inspections and troubleshooting, including airframe structures, engines, and aircraft systems, using approved or accepted data issued by the manufacturer or FAA Operates all power tools and equipment necessary to accomplish job assignment Completes all required maintenance records as stated in Repair Station and Quality Control Manuals Accurately records time worked on aircraft work order Interprets technical manuals, drawings and blueprints Demonstrates excellent communication skills, professionalism, and a positive customer service attitude without compromising quality Presents a clean and neat work area to customers - facility cleanliness and general housekeeping Performs other aircraft maintenance work as required Tows and parks aircraft Performs other duties as assigned Basic shop upkeep (Sweeping, mopping, cleaning, etc.). Lifting/moving items 50lbs. Must be able to sit, stand, bend, crouch, kneel, and walk for extended periods. Must be able to climb and work from ladders, work stands, and other heights. Must be able to work with one or both hands extended overhead. The ability to travel as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required. Experience with TBM aircraft, preferred. 5+ years of hands-on aircraft maintenance experience with previous work with single-engine turboprop aircraft Familiarity with PT6 engines is a strong advantage Must have an FAA Airframe & Powerplant certificate. Basic computer skills are required. Ability to read, write, and understand the English language Must have own tools. Must be eligible to work legally in the US. Valid US Driver's License. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen & background check.
