A&P Mechanic Opportunity in Sanford, FL! We are seeking experienced FAA-licensed A&P Mechanics to join a growing aircraft maintenance operation in Sanford, Florida . Responsibilities:
Perform heavy aircraft maintenance, inspections, repairs, modifications, and upgrades Troubleshoot and repair aircraft mechanical and related systems Remove and install aircraft components as required Perform maintenance in accordance with approved technical data and FAA requirements Read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals, technical documentation, and work instructions Accurately complete aircraft maintenance documentation Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance Follow established tool control, FOD prevention, and workplace safety procedures Work effectively with other technicians, inspectors, leads, and maintenance personnel
Qualifications:
FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License required Minimum 2 years of MRO/heavy aircraft maintenance experience preferred Commercial aircraft maintenance experience required Boeing 737 NextGen experience or Gen Fam training highly preferred Experience with Boeing, Airbus, Embraer, DC, or MD aircraft is a plus Ability to read and follow aircraft maintenance manuals and technical documentation Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills Strong commitment to safety and quality Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team Must be interested in a long-term aviation maintenance opportunity
Additional Requirement:
Candidates selected for this Sanford, FL facility must be able to obtain and maintain a SIDA (Security Identification Display Area) badge as required for airport access.
Pay:
$35.00 - $43.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
