Job Description
FAA LICENSED AIRCRAFT A&P MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN NOTE

Avias Aircraft Services is a Cirrus SR Service Center of the Year for North America two years in a row. We also perform more Cirrus airframe parachute repacks than any other shop in North America. We are looking for technicians with two years experience as an A&P in piston/light turboprop maintenance. Recent A&P graduates are welcome to apply. The ideal candidate will have experience in general aviation, specifically Cirrus, Piper, Cessna and light turbines. Duties include inspection, repair, modification of the entire aircraft and special equipment, including log book research. We are a FAA 145 Repair Station and our pay and benefits are highly competitive. We are looking for people to work in a team environment with minimal supervision in our well-maintained and friendly shop. You must have your own tools.Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on aircraft to ensure they are in safe and airworthy condition
- Diagnose and troubleshoot aircraft systems, including airframe, and powerplant
- Repair or replace faulty components using appropriate manuals, tools and equipment
- Follow federal aviation regulations and company procedures to ensure compliance and safety
- Document all maintenance activities accurately and thoroughly in our computerized maintenance management system
- Collaborate with other technicians to complete repairs/modifications
- Stay current with industry advancements and attend training sessions as required
Skills:
- Knowledge of aircraft systems, including airframe, and powerplant
- Familiarity with federal aviation regulations (FARs) and industry standards
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for aircraft maintenance
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
