(WAI) is a helicopter services company that has specialized in utility work since 1990 and has become one of the premier helicopter utility companies in the state of Hawai'i. WAI is expanding its fleet/operations and is therefore in need of additional maintenance personnel. WAI is an FAA Part 135, 133, and 137 certified operators. Helicopters. Ideally, the applicant will work year-round on a 5 & 2 schedule and be based in Maui, Hawaii. Scheduled maintenance workdays are from 8 am to 4 pm. Some unscheduled maintenance will be required and flexibility is a key asset for applicants. The majority of maintenance is conducted at the primary hangar on Maui. Some fieldwork is required. Requirements Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic Certificate. 2 years of Rotorcraft maintenance experience, is preferred. Experience maintaining MD500s, preferred. Experience maintaining BK117s, preferred. Ability to work independently in field conditions. Ability to work well with peers and customers.
