Position Overview Avcenter, Inc. is seeking a skilled and dependable Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) to join our team in Pocatello, Idaho. The AMT serves as the primary caretaker of both customer and company aircraft, managing technical assignments from initial acceptance through completion and documentation. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and regulatory compliance.

Required Qualifications:

• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License
• Minimum of 5 years of aircraft maintenance experience
• Strong understanding of aircraft systems and troubleshooting techniques
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Basic computer and math skills
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks

Preferred Qualifications:

• Inspection Authorization (IA)
• Experience operating or maintaining Cessna Citation Jet or Beechcraft King Air model aircraft. Key Responsibilities
• Perform aircraft inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs in accordance with FAA regulations and company standards
• Complete 50/100-hour, annual, and progressive inspections
• Repair airframes and replace time-controlled components and aircraft accessories
• Ensure compliance with airworthiness directives and service bulletins
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including logbooks and billing records
• Keep shop, hangar, tools, and equipment clean, organized, and serviceable
• Communicate effectively with customers to understand issues and explain maintenance findings when needed.
• Assist with general shop and facility upkeep, including shared spaces
• Demonstrate flexibility with scheduling, including occasional overtime or travel to meet operational needs Performance Expectations
