Job Description
Job Summary
Join a dynamic team working on a variety of General Aviation and Private jets, including some turboprop aircraft. This role involves preventative maintenance and repairs, routine inspections, phase inspections, hourly inspections, and correcting discrepancies and pilot-reported squawks. You will demonstrate knowledge and adhere to all regulations set forth by the
FAA & 145
Certification.
Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on aircraft.
Conduct routine, phase, and hourly inspections.
Correct discrepancies and address pilot-reported squawks.
Ensure compliance with
FAA & 145
Certification regulations.
Essential Skills
Experience in aircraft maintenance.
A&P certification or equivalent aircraft experience.
Minimum of 3-4 years of military experience if no A&P certification.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Inspection Authorization (IA) certification is a plus.

Work Environment
Work in a clean and newly remodeled hangar, which can get colder in the winter months. The position is primarily first shift, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. While weekend work may be occasionally required, it is not frequent. The facility is expanding into State Farms Hangers, maintaining a clean and busy environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bloomington, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
