Job Title:

A&P Mechanic Job Description This role focuses on performing intermediate and heavy maintenance on 737 aircraft with minimal supervision. You will use your A&P expertise to carry out maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting tasks while ensuring all work complies with applicable airworthiness standards and FAA-approved data. You will also support and guide less experienced mechanics and help maintain a safe, efficient, and high-quality maintenance operation. Work Environment The role is based in a modern hangar environment at a large international airport, working primarily on commercial 737 aircraft. The facility includes two 10-story hangar bays and approximately 238,000 square feet of space, and was built within the last decade, providing a clean and well-maintained workspace. Work takes place on-site in the hangar, where conditions can become cold between September and May due to hangar doors opening and closing, so appropriate layered clothing is recommended. The position follows structured evening schedules of either Wednesday through Saturday or Sunday through Wednesday from 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM. You will use PCs, iPads, and standard maintenance tools and equipment while working alongside a team of technicians and support staff in a professional, safety-focused environment.
