A&P Mechanics & A&P Inspectors Peru, Indiana | Dean Baldwin Painting Dean Baldwin Painting is hiring experienced A&P Mechanics and A&P Inspectors for our FAA-certified Part 145 Repair Station in Peru, Indiana. Our 156,000-square-foot facility features four full-service aircraft strip and paint bays. Our team supports a variety of commercial passenger and cargo aircraft, including major Airbus and Boeing fleets. A&P MECHANIC
$28.00-$38.00/hour based on relevant experience
Minimum:
2 years relevant commercial aircraft maintenance experience
A&P INSPECTOR
$38.00-$44.00/hour based on relevant experience
Minimum:
5 years relevant commercial aircraft maintenance experience, including aircraft inspection responsibilities Both positions require a current FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate and hands-on experience with Airbus and Boeing commercial aircraft. A&P Mechanic Our A&P Mechanics perform hands-on aircraft maintenance and repairs in accordance with manufacturer manuals, FAA regulations and company procedures.
Key responsibilities include:
Perform aircraft maintenance and repairs Read and interpret aircraft technical manuals and electrical drawings Accurately document maintenance activities and OJT Assist with aircraft movement and towing Follow applicable FAA regulations and Repair Station procedures A&P Inspector Our A&P Inspectors ensure aircraft meet airworthiness, quality and regulatory requirements throughout the maintenance and refinishing process.
Key responsibilities include:
Perform preliminary, hidden damage, in-process and final inspections Review work packages and maintenance records for accuracy and completeness Make airworthiness determinations prior to return to service Interpret task cards, customer drawings, OEM technical data, ADs and service bulletins Perform aircraft paint/strip process inspections Complete required FAA documentation This is a hands-on inspection position where experience matters. Many shifts operate with only one or two inspectors, so strong inspection experience, sound judgment and the ability to work independently are essential. Requirements for Both Positions Current FAA A&P Certificate Relevant commercial aircraft maintenance experience Hands-on Airbus and Boeing commercial aircraft experience required Verifiable aircraft maintenance employment within the last two years Ability to read and interpret applicable aircraft technical data Valid driver's license Ability to work assigned shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays Ability to successfully pass required drug/alcohol screening, background and security requirements Why Dean Baldwin Painting?
