This Aircraft Mechanic 2 is a PBMF quality control technical inspector for

MH-60/MH-47/MH-6

aircraft. Responsibilities Inspects and accepts maintenance performed and completes all aircraft historical records processes in ACN and MCDS. Coordinates for government quality assurance acceptance of critical safety items. Conducts aircraft inventories, weight and balance activities, tracks defective work in the phase bay. Submits aircraft historical records for government review upon completion of maintenance. Conducts post-maintenance and end-of-shift tool inventories. Produces Maintenance Engineering Calls (MECs) for submission to a Logistical Assistance Representative (LAR) for repairs beyond the limits specified in the technical publications. Tracks life-limited components in aircraft historical records. Qualifications Must be a U.S. citizen with a valid U.S. Drivers license Must possess or be able to obtain secret clearance. Must have a minimum of 6 years in aircraft maintenance, with at least two years of experience in assigned MDS aircraft. Service school producing aircraft technical inspectors preferable. Must be able to climb on/in/around aircraft, maintenance stands, and major components. Weight and balance certification is desirable. Job
