Position Summary
Davcor Aviation Services is seeking Part-Time Aircraft Wash Technicians to support aircraft cleaning and appearance maintenance operations. This role plays a critical part in maintaining aircraft cleanliness, safety, and overall presentation in a fast-paced, safety-sensitive aviation environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in aviation while working flexible, part-time hours.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare aircraft for washing by securing vent areas, applying protective coverings, and ensuring all safety precautions are in place
Clean and rinse exterior and interior aircraft surfaces, removing grease, oil, dirt, fungus, and other contaminants
Polish and clean windscreens and canopies using approved compounds and techniques to ensure optimal visibility
Adhere to Foreign Object Damage (FOD), Hazardous Waste, and Tool Control programs
Follow all company, contractual, and regulatory safety standards and procedures
Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure aircraft meet cleanliness and safety standards
Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or managers
Qualifications & Requirements
Familiarity with general safety practices when working around aircraft and ground support equipment preferred
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
Capable of understanding and following written and verbal instructions
Comfortable using aircraft cleaning tools and equipment
Must be reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
Must be willing to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
The responsibilities and duties while performing this role include, but are not limited to, the following:
Ability to stand, walk, and remain active for extended periods
Frequent climbing, bending, kneeling, crouching, and reaching overhead
Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 70 pounds
Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
Visual ability including close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
Work performed in dynamic environments including:
Outdoor conditions (heat, cold, wind, rain, sunlight)
High-noise areas
Aircraft flight lines, hangars, and maintenance facilities
Willingness to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
Exposure to industrial conditions and varying weather environments
Preferred Qualifications
Previous aviation or aircraft-related experience
Experience with aircraft washing or industrial cleaning
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive hourly pay: $16-$18 per hour
