Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced A&P Aircraft Technician to join an established aviation organization in Lexington, Kentucky. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing aircraft inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and modifications while ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer requirements, and company procedures. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled aviation maintenance professional who takes pride in quality workmanship, attention to detail, and maintaining aircraft to the highest standards. A minimum of 3 years of aircraft maintenance experience and a valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate are required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance, inspections, repairs, and troubleshooting.

Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and other aircraft system issues.

Perform maintenance in accordance with FAA regulations, approved maintenance procedures, aircraft maintenance manuals, and company standards.

Inspect aircraft components and systems to identify defects, wear, damage, or other maintenance requirements.

Complete accurate maintenance records, work orders, inspection documentation, and other required paperwork.

Assist with aircraft modifications, installations, repairs, and maintenance projects as assigned.

Ensure all work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.

Work collaboratively with other maintenance personnel and operational teams to support aircraft availability.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Follow all company safety procedures and applicable OSHA and FAA requirements.

Support additional maintenance activities and projects as needed.

Requirements

Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate required.

Minimum of 3 years of professional aircraft maintenance experience on General Aviation aircraft required.

Experience performing aircraft inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance.

Strong knowledge of aircraft maintenance procedures and FAA regulations.

Ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals, technical publications, schematics, and maintenance documentation.

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Ability to accurately document maintenance activities and complete required records.

Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety and quality.

Ability to work independently as well as effectively within a maintenance team.

Ability to work in a fast-paced aviation environment and meet operational deadlines.

Must be able to pass applicable employment screening requirements.
