AIRCRAFT SURVIVAL FLIGHT EQUIPMENT REPAIRER

• TITLE 32, WG-4818-10, you will ensure all life support equipment meets strict airworthiness criteria and will sustain comb operions/readiness.

Inspect, test, calibre, certify, evalue, troubleshoot, repair, replace, assemble, and disassemble aircrew life support equipment, aircrew chemical/biological defense equipment, and aircraft ejection/non-ejection systems. Clear Red X symbols on aircraft forms, aircraft/aircrew electronic communicions equipment, and aircraft-oxygen reled systems. Utilize complex ste of the art diagnostic testers/systems/specialty tools to ensure systems are calibred to Technical Orders and factory specificions. Conduct in-depth and quality control inspections to diagnose the nure and extent of equipment malfunction. Ensure merial and equipment are properly stored, protected, and maintained IAW with safety, fire, security, and housekeeping regulions. Conduct classroom and technical instruction for all pilots, aircrew, passengers on systems and equipment. Incorpore Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape (SERE) field instruction for pilots/aircrew members into all survival training. Plan, organize, develop, direct, implement, evalue, and conduct SERE Training activities. Utilize, maintain, and upde computer main frame programs/da bases to analyze, troubleshoot, schedule, and maintain inspection and accountability reports/documention on all aircrew/aircraft life support and aircrew chemical-biological defense equipment. Maintain equipment management, control, accountability, supply accounts, supply tracking logs, and funding accounts. Order, maintain, and distribute Technical Orders. Inventory, inspect, and monitor Precision Maintenance Equipment Laborory equipment. Maintain certificion for handling, shipping, storing, and ordering multiple hazardous merials. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

You must maintain membership in the Kentucky Nional Guard. You must be assigned to a compible military position. Wear of the military uniform. Position may require a pre-employment physical. MINIMUM REQUIREMENT

Experience which demonstres knowledge of merials and equipment used in the line of work (helmets, torso harness assemblies, parachutes, survival equipment). Ability to understand written instructions and to use reference merials and manuals.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE

Must have least 18 months experience which demonstres knowledge of aviion life support equipment. Experience reading and interpreting military manuals. Experience in supply procedures and property accountability. Experience collecting informion and presenting it to various sized groups.
