Position Type:
Full-Time | Contract Overview We are seeking experienced Aircraft Mechanic II personnel to perform depot-level maintenance, modifications, and operational checks on MHU-196 and MHU-204 heavy munitions trailers in support of U.S. Air Force operations. Work will be performed at assigned Air Force installations, with periodic travel to additional locations as required.
Period of Performance:
May 29, 2026 - September 29, 2027 Responsibilities Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on support equipment Execute modifications in accordance with Technical Orders (TCTOs) Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and structural systems Conduct inspections, operational checks, and diagnostics Maintain compliance with technical data, documentation, and maintenance records Support tool control and equipment accountability procedures Follow all safety, OSHA, and hazardous material handling requirements Qualifications Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience, including 1 year in hydraulics Experience repairing and maintaining hydraulic systems on aircraft or support equipment Ability to: Interpret engineering drawings and specifications Perform system assembly, repair, and operational checks Conduct hydraulic system bleeding and testing Knowledge of pressurized fluid systems and safe handling of hazardous materials Normal color vision required Work Locations & Travel Primary duty location will be specified at time of hire.
